The oxide layer’s phase composition and porosity dictate its thermal performance. For insulation, we promote a sealed, porous microstructure. For dissipation, we formulate for higher thermal diffusivity. You would specify, for example, “PEO-Profile T3: High Insulation” along with its quantified thermal impedance.
