I boldly predict that universities in ten years will be completely unrecognizable compared to what they are today.With AI advancing at breakneck speed, the channels through which we acquire new knowledge have broadened significantly. Universities worldwide are truly becoming open institutions without walls. Unless a university is strictly dedicated to pure academic research, applied technology universities will no longer need entrance exams or the rigid admission thresholds we see today.Currently, many universities still encourage faculty to pay exorbitant publication fees to get their papers published.
