SoftBank Group Corp. today announced that, on July 1, 2026 , it executed the follow-on investment of USD 10.0 billion， in OpenAI Group PBC via SoftBank Vision Fund 2, as part of the total USD 30.0 billion follow-on investments previously announced in “Follow-on Investments in OpenAI” dated February 27, 2026. SBG plans to complete the third tranche, in the amount of USD 10.0 billion, on October 1, 2026
